Since then, I've joined a squad on some derelict ship mission, and the host whispered me, asking if I'm there for 3 minutes, but he apparently couldn't see me in the squad. A third whisperer /w me and opened up a tab under his own name- everything worked perfectly in that one. I had to now /w them individually, because if I type in the midorishun tab they don't get my messeges. Both people whispered on the same tab, and the only person in the tab was, you guessed it, Midorishun. Isn't supposed to exist, because I can't whisper myself. Two of them appeared under the tab of "midorishun" which. After having reconnected, I've been having trouble with some whispers for example, I hosted a void mission and got three whispers from different people. I went to my clan's active member list and it said that I was offline. Ever since that happened, I noticed that when I was whispering with the clan leader, it said both "Midorishun" (Name) and Midorishun_1 and my messege appeared as if I was typing it twice, once as Midorishun and the other as Midorishun_1. I have no chat tabs just a loading circle in the top left corner. After restarted it took awhile to log back in and now my chat doesn't work. Tried logging back in but wouldn't so I restarted my game. It's impossible for people to have read my message in that. As soon as I hit the send button I get blocked. At first I thought it was because people were blocking me as soon as they say I was a dude but the block happens way too fast. During a round of layoffs a month ago, in which 14 of Whisper’s 71 employees were let go, Heyward told TechCrunch that his goal was “getting the company cash-flow positive.” Reducing the company down to its bare bones and doing away with board members to regain control of the company is certainly one way of doing that.So I just started playing two days ago, and I joined a clan today. Was playing a mission then after the mission ended before I got back to my ship I got logged out of game. I just downloaded whisper and whenever I try to chat with someone I get immediately blocked.
More recently, however, Whisper’s problems have seemed more existential: the company raised $7.7 million in debt in 2013, and $25.5 million in a flat valuation equity offering in 2014 that pays those buyers first in the event of a sale.
The Times reports that Whisper solicited investment from places like Time Inc. Earlier this year, Heyward said his company would begin focusing on marketing and advertising. It’s not clear what’s next for the start-up, which has struggled to turn a profit from its 30 million monthly users. a conference room using Google meeting room hardware, you can view the messages, but not send. It remains unclear whether its founders are using their own money to orchestrate some kind of buyout or if other investment firms are financing it. Download the latest version of Whisper for Android. But according to three sources who spoke to the paper (on condition of anonymity, naturally), the company’s founders, Michael Heyward and Brad Brooks, may be orchestrating an attempt to buy out early investors to regain control of the company themselves.
The investors and representatives for their firms all declined to comment to the Times. The Los Angeles Times reports that Sequoia’s Roelof Botha, Lightspeed’s Jeremy Liew, Shasta’s Sean Flynn, and investor John Hadl all recently left their board-of-director positions with the start-up, which had raised $60 million in funding at a $200 million valuation at its peak in 2014. Los Angeles-based Whisper laid off 20 percent of its staff last month, and now it would appear its high-profile board members have left their positions, too.
